Natural and moisturing our handmade soap is free of palm oil but is rich in shea butter and essential oils. Our soaps are made here at Nellie's Patch the old fashioned way, through the "cold process" method. Full of our own herbs and flowers, such as Lavender and Calendula they will remind you of English summer gardens. These truely are something special, try them and see for yourselves.
Our Calendula natural soap retains its lovely yellow and orange petals. Calendula, or pot marigold, has been used for centuries as a herbal favourite, renowned for its soothing qualities. We have added marjoram and clary sage essential oils. Marjoram is known for the antibacterial and antiviral properties it offers. It is thought to ease tension and lift the mood. Clary sage with its antifungal attributes is also beneficial for mature skin. Do remember this soap, like all our others, is rich in moisturising shea butter.
Though our lavender natural soap may not look lavender in colour, rest assured it contains ground lavender flowers grown by us. Unlike some lavender soaps we do not add any artificial colourings, so it is a pure lavender soap with essential lavender oil. This oil is renowned for its skin rejuvenating qualities, especially suited to normal and oily skins, but most people know it for the calming and soothing properties. This soap is also rich in moisturizing shea butter.

Nettles may be weeds to you, but not to us! They form part of this stimulating duo, which combined create a faint green-tinged natural soap. Stinging nettles are rich in vitamins A,C and D along with some minerals. You don’t need to worry that you will be stung as the stinging chemicals are no longer present! We infuse spring water with our own nettles and rosemary. Then we add rosemary essential oil, with its antifungal, antibacterial, and anti inflammatory qualities. It is also considered to be a helpful memory aid. As with all our natural soap shea butter adds moisturising benefits.
This lovely pink natural soap contains the essential oil from the deliciously fragrant rose geranium plant. This is most expensive of the essential oils we use, and that is why this soap is more expensive to buy. It is known for its antibacterial and antifungal properties, and helps as an aid to relaxation and mood swings. We add two different superfine clays (kaolin) which provide the pretty colour and are beneficial for toning, refining and gently exfoliating. Spring water infused with petals from our own roses (mainly David Austin English shrub type), has been used, and shea butter provides moisturising comfort.

This is a real wake up natural soap! Your bathroom will be refreshed naturally as it has quite a strong scent. We include olive green organic super-fine clay (kaolin) which helps draw out impurities and tightens pores. The fragrance comes from the essential oil of peppermint which is known for having antifungal, antibacterial and anti inflammatory qualities. It helps aid concentration, and overcome mental fatigue. We then add ground peppermint, grown here at Nellie’s Patch. It is also rich in shea butter, like all our soaps.
Our "Totally Plain" soap, is just that. We have made it for those who have sensitive skin and need a very pure soap. This may just be the soap for them! It is our normal recipe, but without the extra's, it is rich in shea butter as always.
